It turns out, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! was just too much for most of you guys to want to shell out for an old V12 Bimmer, and I can see why. But perhaps a newer V12 Bimmer, for the price of a brand-new four-cylinder F10, will convince you. Said car is a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . It's a long wheelbase cruiser with horsepower and torque both right around the 440 mark from the 6.0 liter mill, so you won't be wanting for performance. Styling has always been a controversial point of these cars, with the Bangle design being a love-it-or-hate-it style. I love it, but if you're not convinced, this individual car comes in a fetching semi-dark blue with a very light tan interior. Speaking of which, the interior is the hihgpoint of this car. Spacious, stylish, comfortable, and with more gizmos and gadgets than Elon Musk's TV room, the only real issue with the cabin is that rear TV screen, which makes the iPad screen on a current Mercedes look thoughtfully integrated. But then, that's a first wold problem if ever there was one. A TV screen is still a TV screen, and the car also has a fridge, several Harmon-Kardon speakers, a night vision camera, adaptive radar cruise control, self-closing doors, and a myriad of other opulent shit. As I said, the $53,000 price tag is more like that of a 4 cylinder 528i than a $140,0000 uber-limo. But that doesn't mean this car isn't damn near new. Whatever plutocrat owned this car last must've preferred using their Learjet for short errands, because the big BMW has under 2200 miles on the clock. That's not even off-lease miles. More like extended test drive miles. So that's the issue of reliability taken care of. What do you guy think? Would you pay base-model 5-series money for a road-going motor yacht that's new in every way but the title?

Is it a reliability issue, or just not you thing? Or is it actually way over market value?

At 2000 miles and 6 years old, that's less than 350 miles per year. There's something very wrong with it that isn't being stated.
Would you buy a V12 and only drive it to the end of the driveway to get the mail?

Fuck it. Nice price. My girlfriend's dad had one of these (I wanna say 2010(?)) before he got an S Class, and I got to drive it a couple times. It's a luxurious dream. It is as to a Rolls Royce as the VW Phaeton was to a Bentley. In other words, you're saving a lot of money with a second tier (or third, depending on your tiering system) luxury badge. Plus its got a giant V12 and it moves. Plus plus you'll look amazing while taking over a small country or whatever you do on a normal Tuesday. Nice price.

Who knows? I have a couple theories that don't involve it being a ticking time bomb, most of which (obviously) don't involve it being someone's DD.

I like it honestly, except that it is an automatic and it is a column shifter . No thanx.

These are easily, head and shoulders above any opponents, the most unreliable cars in existence. My broker bought one and it took 6 months of steady and heinously expensive repairs just to get it ready to sell for mid 30s. This is M car, 996/boxsterIMS, Range Rover, Ferrari, Audi levels of expensive maintenance all rolled into one bill. This car couldn't even look at a mechanics garage for less then $5k.

I don't think you can get any car even remotely like this with a manual, unless I'm mistaken.

Well, if it was a private owners, they were obviously insanely wealthy, and perhaps had many other cars, possibly in many locations, that they drove instead. Or it could've been some sort of professional use, but only ever acted as a surplus fleet member. Or it sat on a dealer lot for a long time. Or, the OG owner was likely old ,and didn't drive it much because he was old/dead. You can check the Carfax if you want, since I have no actual idea.

a little bit of both. Nice car, but the depreciation factor as soon as you start packing on the miles is too great
